Take your practice and teaching to the next level! In this 10-hour Mini-Immersion learn a powerful and concise template of alignment principles that support functional movement and progressive capacity. Integrate limbs to core, fortify the curves of the spine, and use your strength to safely open your body. More than just a physical process, we align our bodies, hearts, and minds to our courage and resilience, our truth and wisdom, and the infinite nature of our being.

The work of alignment asks for radical openness to possibility, honest self-awareness, loving tenacity, and patience. Come explore this transformative work with one of the most knowledgeable, dynamic, and enthusiastic teachers of alignment work, Gina Minyard. Each session we’ll bring online the template of fundamental alignment principles and their application in the particular poses of each session. You are encouraged to attend all sessions to maximize learning and assimilation, but single session drop-ins are welcome. Earn CEUs with Yoga Alliance. For students and teachers alike, and for all styles of yoga.

Saturday, April 28th
12-2:30pm – Standing Poses and Seated Hip Openers
Did you know your core strength begins in your feet? And the power of your legs frees your hips and lower back? Standing well is fundamental!

4-6:30pm – Twists and Inversions
Explore the curves of the spine, healthy strength of the core, and hand and shoulder alignment to move from your steady center into twists and inversions.

Saturday, May 5th
12-2:30pm – Backbends
Find a new resilience in the strength of your back and the support of your core to feel steady, centered, and expansive in backbending postures.

4-6:30pm – Hip Openers and Arm Balances
Work your legs to open your hips, ignite the power of your core, and unlock exhilarating possibility in arm balances.
